Qiming Venture Partners' USD Fund VIII wins Fundraising of the Year – VC category of the 22nd AVCJ Private Equity & Venture Capital Awards, announced on Nov 14, 2022, in Singapore.
In July 2022, Qiming announced the closing of our USD Fund VIII at US$2.5 billion, which was oversubscribed and reached its hard cap for limited partner commitments. With an innovative fundraising structure and Qiming team's deep commitment to our investors, Qiming attracted new LPs from across the world, and further commitments from existing LPs.
USD Fund VIII is led by Managing Partners Duane Kuang, Nisa Leung, William Hu, and Gary Rieschel, with full support of investment and administration teams based in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong.
