Mr. Shiyu Wang is a Partner at Qiming Venture Partners. He co-leads Qiming’s investments in the Technology and Consumer (T&C) sector, with a focus on the internet and consumer sectors. Shiyu has over 13 years of working experience in venture capital and investment banking.
Shiyu’s portfolio includes Bilibili (NASDAQ:BILI), Meitu Inc. (SEHK:1357), Forgame Holdings (SEHK:0484), Hortor Games, Coohua and Tiejia.
Shiyu has been named by top-tier media and other institutions including 36Kr, The Founder, and China Renaissance as a new prominent investor in their annual rankings.
Prior to joining Qiming, Shiyu served as a Managing Partner at K2VC. In Shiyu’s portfolio, there is one company successfully listed, one acquired by an overseas public company, and one in the process of listing on the ChiNext Board. His notable investments include Onion Global (NYSE: OG), Betta Games (partially acquired by Zynga), Data Intelink, GOSO, QEEWOO, Block 12 Culture, Xinshixiang, INXX, HanJuTv, etc.
From 2012 to 2016, Shiyu held several roles at Qiming Venture Partners, mostly recently as Principal. In his early career, Shiyu worked at China Renaissance as an Analyst and Associate.
Shiyu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from Beihang University.
